Life Coach for Women in Perimenopause & Menopause
Break the cycles with food. Build self-trust. Be free in your body.
Welcome
I’m Amy English, Life Coach and creator of Fat2Fierce®. I help women in perimenopause and menopause end the exhausting fight with food and body shame so they can rebuild self-trust and feel safe in their skin. If you're done chasing diets and want to feel at peace with food and your body, you're in the right place.
How I Got Here
I knew I wanted to be a coach. I just didn’t expect food and body healing to be the heart of my work.
In 2015, after breast cancer and a major career shift, I hired my first life coach. I was searching for clarity and something that felt more like me. Coaching cracked something open. I saw how much of my life had been shaped by shame, especially around food and my body, and I finally understood what kept me stuck
My Story
I started dieting at 11. My body was the target of relentless bullying... Miss Piggy, Orca, you name it. I learned early that thinness was the currency of approval. Food became my frenemy. I snuck it, binged it, feared it, and tried to control it with every diet under the sun.
In 2013, I lost 100 pounds. Two weeks later, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I gained 30 pounds back in the first month from stress eating. That moment showed me how fragile “success” is when it’s built on control instead of compassion.
Coaching helped me rewrite the story. I trained with Martha Beck and Susan Hyatt, healed my relationship with food, and learned to treat my body with respect, not punishment. Feeling good became the goal, not chasing a number.
What I Do Now
Through Fat2Fierce®, I help women navigate midlife with grace and confidence. Hormones, emotions, and diet culture often collide, but this can also be a time of deep empowerment.
When you feel free in your body and around food, everything changes. That’s why I help you break the cycles, rebuild trust, and come home to yourself—one brave moment at a time.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
Clients say working with me feels like talking to a trusted friend... someone who gets it, gently nudges, and helps them see what’s possible beyond the food & body struggle. We talk about deeply personal things, often patterns they’ve carried for decades. I create a space that’s warm, safe, and judgment-free. I understand where they are, and I know where they want to go. Let’s Talk
If something in you whispers, "This is what I need", I'd love to talk. I offer a 60-minute Connection Call to explore what's been keeping you stuck and whether this work feels like the right next step. Spots are limited so every client receives the care and attention they need.
You deserve peace with food.
You deserve to trust yourself again.
And you deserve to feel safe in your body, simply because it’s yours.
Client Testimonials
Fat2Fierce is not a quick fix (for me those never worked), it’s a life change and Amy does such a great job of motivating me to want to use the tools & strategies to continue to feel better & eat better. The mental weight was likely heavier for me than my physical gain so helping me lose that (and understand where that comes from) has been huge. I’m surprised at how much more accepting I am of myself & my body & my mental state than when I began the program. -Abby H.
Every session was like being on the phone with a trusted friend... just the right balance of understanding and gentle shove. I wasn't sure what to expect really, having never worked one on one with a coach before. I knew that the old diet culture was not the answer, that the real answer was somewhere inside my own head, but the work we did together blew me away with every exercise. If you can commit to doing the work, this will work for you and set you up for success once and for all. Do it! -Dayle C.
The non-diet culture approach to body kindness and weight loss is refreshing! My relationship with food and my body has changed...all due to a change in thinking. I was surprised at how interconnected everything is. Making the homework a priority was challenging, but breaking it into small chunks helps. I would describe Amy’s coaching as comfortable, safe, and judgement free. I’m proud of deciding to work with her and make this a priority. -M.M.
