After breast cancer, I felt lost and insecure and I didn't know what I wanted to be when I grew up. I had no passion left for my job in wireless telecommunications and I felt like I was trapped. One day, I saw an advertisement for a life coach at the dentist's office. I had never heard of life coaching before, but I took a leap of faith and scheduled a free consultation.
During that first session, I felt like I had finally found someone who understood what I was going through. The life coach helped me see that I had the potential to create a more fulfilling life for myself. I was inspired to make a change, and I hired her as my coach.
Over the next few months, I worked with my coach to heal old wounds, build self-confidence, and clarify my goals. I started to follow my passion for helping others, and I eventually decided to become a life coach myself.
Life coaching is a process that helps people achieve their personal and professional goals. We work with our clients to identify their goals, develop a plan to achieve them and overcome any obstacles that stand in their way. Life coaching is helpful for people who want to make changes in their lives, such as starting a new business, changing careers, or improving their relationships.
The last 8 years have been nothing short of astonishing. I've healed old wounds that were buried by food. I accepted myself, and my body. I stopped binge eating and emotional overeating and improved my relationship with food. My confidence has grown in proportion to the strength I've exhibited. I've begun following the breadcrumbs before me. I found my voice and started to trust myself.
With life coaching, the transformation doesn't end. We just continue to evolve. The awareness gained and shifts experienced have a direct effect on everyone in our lives. The negative cycles I broke have had a positive impact on my husband and children simply because I stopped repeating them. My desire for a healthy relationship with food, my body, and myself influences other people, especially my clients. I changed the way I see myself, which changed the way I treat myself, which has a ripple effect on everything and everyone.
The Fat2Fierce transformation has improved my life and the lives of all the people I love.
There are times when I think I'm crazy for picking emotional eating as a niche because it's been such a big pain point in my life. But I know I'm not the only person on the planet with this story. If my experience can shed some light and offer a pathway for someone else to heal, then it's worth it. This is the ripple effect of healing.
